Danbury, Conn. – Danbury Ice Arena announces its upcoming ice skating spectacular, the “2018 Olympic Dreams Skating Show,” featuring figure skater Isadora Williams, who will represent Brazil at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.
Also performing will be Amanda Kalluf, who recently moved to Junior Level on the Brazilian skating team, and skaters who participate in Danbury Arena’s ice skating programs.
The show will take place at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, January 28, and will be followed by a learn-to-skate class led by Williams. The learn-to-skate class for new skaters aged seven and under is available to the first 50 skaters who pre-register on a first come, first served basis. Afterwards, there will be a Meet-and-Greet with an autograph session available to all ticket holders.
Williams won five Senior International medals, including bronze at the 2012 Golden Spin of Zagreb, silver at the 2017 Volvo Open Cup and gold at the 2017 Sofia Trophy. She earned her spot on the 2018 Olympic team at last year’s Nebelhorn Trophy in Oberstdorf, Germany.
Williams, who represented Brazil in the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, trains under the tutelage of coaches Kristen Fraser and Igor Lukanin at Danbury Ice Arena’s sister facility, Floyd Hall Arena in Little Falls, NJ. She is a student at Montclair State University.
Kalluf has skated in several international competitions and was a part of Korea’s 2016 Dream Program.
