Townsquare Media and CityCenter Danbury have once again teamed up for a delicious event, the second annual Bacon + Brew Festival. It all happens on Saturday, July 16 from 3 to 9 pm on the CityCenter Green.
Sip craft beer, devour mouth-watering bacon-inspired eats and listen to live music. For $15 in advance or $20 at the door, it’s a day of total indulgence. A portion of the day’s proceeds goes to CityCenter, to help fund the free events the organization holds throughout the year.
Other than food and drink, you’ll find vendors like Buttheads Tobacco Emporium, AJ’s Rockin’ Ribbons, Danbury Fiat and Danbury Tattoo. This year, rocking the music line-up is Rick Derringer followed by the Georgia Satellites.
The craft beer menu is going to feature a bevy of refreshing summer choices: Stony Creek Black Water Pilsner, Goose Island Summertime, Blue Point Blueberry, Thomas Hooker Watermelon Ale, Kona Big Wave Golden Ale, Red Hook Long Hammer IPA, Stony Creek Sun Juice Belgian Summer Ale, Shock Top Lemon Shandy, Uinta Dubhe Imperial Black, Stella Cidre and of course, old standbys like Budweiser and Bud Light.
Hungry festival goers will find food by Aradia Farm, Gallucci Catering, Hacienda Don Manuel, Hog Wild BBQ, Lebanese Cuisine, Mima’s Meatballs + More, Ralph the Ice Cream Guy, Romy’s BBQ, Sal’s Italian Flavor and Tiger’s Den.
