The Connecticut Make-A-Wish Foundation ® grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses to enrich their human experience with hope, strength and joy. Wishes strengthen children and their families and communities, and change the lives of all involved.
Each experience begins with a referral wish. A child with a potentially fatal condition that is over 2½ years old and is under 18 at the time of the referral is potentially eligible for a wish. Potential wish children, medical professionals, parents, legal representatives and family members with detailed knowledge of the child’s current medical condition may initiate the referral process. For a reference form, you may use our online consultation form or contact the Make-A-Wish Connecticut Foundation for more information about referring a child living in the United States or one of its territories. Upon referral, a certified medical professional must verify that the child has a potentially fatal medical condition. There are no other qualifications based on gender, race, religion, socioeconomic status or any other demographic category.
If your child suffers from a potentially fatal medical condition, give them the hope, strength and joy that comes with a wish come true. Call Make-A-Wish Connecticut at 877.203.WISH or visit CT.WISH.ORG/REFER to refer a child today.
