Discover Real Discounts in Connecticut – Part 2

AARP Connecticut offers members terrific year-round opportunities to save money and connect them with people and places in their community while supporting local, nonprofit educational and cultural venues. AARP members can enjoy great discounts on admission and memberships to a variety of Connecticut museums and cultural attractions, local theater, musical performances, educational classes and more!

Here is a list of places in Connecticut you can save money:

Garde Arts Center

AARP Members and their guests will receive a 20 percent discount on tickets to Garde Arts Center Presented Performances (excluding Garde Cinema, Summer on Stage, Schooltime Performance Series and Guest Presented Performances) through December 31, 2019.

International Festival of Arts & Ideas

AARP members and their guests will receive a 10 percent discount on an annual membership (single and dual included).

The Klein Memorial Auditorium

AARP members and their guests will receive a 20 percent discount on selected performances at The Klein Memorial Auditorium. Performances will be added as they are confirmed.

Mystic Aquarium

AARP members and their guests will receive a discount of $5 off adult, $5 off senior and $4 off child or youth general admission. AARP members can also save $10 off a new membership through December 31, 2018.

Mystic Seaport

AARP members and up to four guests will receive a discount of $3 off adult, $3 off senior and $3 off youth (ages 4-14) general admission. AARP members can also save 15 percent off a gift membership with their AARP card through December 31, 2018 (any level – individual, dual or family).

Nelson Hall at Elim Park

AARP Members and up to three guests can purchase tickets for any of the 16 shows within the 2017-18 Nelson Hall season (running from October 2017 to July 2018) at its theatre for $22, subject to availability. The $22 AARP member ticket price is for all seating locations and guests aged 12 and older for any of the 16 shows.

Palace Theater

AARP members and their guests will receive a discount on tickets to select performances throughout the year. Shows are announced as they are confirmed.

Stamford Museum and Nature Center

AARP members and their guests will receive $2 off the regular price of a child (originally $5), student (originally $6), senior (originally $8) or adult (originally $10) admission ticket. The discount is not valid on Family Festival Days (Maple Sugar Festival, Spring on the Farm and Harvest Festival) and cannot be combined with other offers.

TheaterWorks

AARP members and their guests will receive $10 off any full price ticket to any performance in the first three weeks of a production’s run during the TheaterWorks season from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.
